Apple's New AI-Powered Smart Home Tablet

  • The new device, expected to serve as a "command center for the home," will reportedly feature a 6-inch touchscreen and voice control capabilities via Siri, Apple Intelligence, or a forthcoming system named "App Intents".

  • The tablet is anticipated to control smart home appliances, conduct video calls, and run on a new operating system with traditional Apple apps like Safari, Apple Music, Notes, and Calendar.

  • The device is positioned to rival Amazon's Echo Hub and Google's Nest Hub, with a similar price range of $100 to $250.
