Apple's New AI-Powered Smart Home Tablet
Intelligence: Apple is reportedly planning to launch a wall-mounted smart home tablet with artificial intelligence capabilities in 2025, potentially reshaping the landscape of the smart home industry.
The new device, expected to serve as a "command center for the home," will reportedly feature a 6-inch touchscreen and voice control capabilities via Siri, Apple Intelligence, or a forthcoming system named "App Intents".
The tablet is anticipated to control smart home appliances, conduct video calls, and run on a new operating system with traditional Apple apps like Safari, Apple Music, Notes, and Calendar.
The device is positioned to rival Amazon's Echo Hub and Google's Nest Hub, with a similar price range of $100 to $250.
Alongside this, Apple is also said to be developing an iPad on a robotic arm that could be priced around $1,000.
