Claude AI Enhances Productivity with Google Docs Analysis Feature

Intelligence: Claude AI, developed by Anthropic, can now analyze Google Docs to provide context to conversations and enhance productivity for its users.

  • The new feature allows users to add a Google Doc to their Claude AI chat or project, after which they can ask the AI questions about the document.

  • Currently, this Google Docs integration is only available to Claude Pro and Claude for Work users.

  • Claude AI can only extract text from a document. It cannot interpret images, comments, or suggestions.

  • Users can only sync documents that they have permission to view in Google Drive.

  • Google Docs added to chats and project knowledge sync directly from Google Drive, ensuring that Claude always has access to the most updated version of the document.

  • This feature aligns Claude with other AI platforms like Gemini and ChatGPT, which offer similar capabilities.

Pickle's AI Avatar Takes Your Place in Web Conference Calls

Intelligence: Startup Pickle has developed an innovative solution for online meetings, allowing users to create an AI avatar that can participate in web conference calls on their behalf.

  • Users submit a five-minute training video to create a personalized avatar, which is ready for use within a day.

  • The service offers three subscription tiers: basic, standard, and pro, with prices ranging from $300 to $1,150 per year.

  • Currently, the technology is only compatible with MacOS, but a Windows version is expected to be released next month.

  • The virtual meeting platforms supported by the service include Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams.

  • Due to high demand, the generation of the AI avatar, also referred to as the "clone," is currently delayed.
