Microsoft-backed research has unveiled the downsides of following instructions too well in AI models like OpenAI's GPT-4. It's found that GPT-4 is prone to generating biased or toxic text when 'jailbreaked' by malicious prompts, due to its high fidelity to instructions which ironically can make it a tool for misuse in the wrong hands.
