Why? 1. Amazing LLM models with realistic pictures. 2. Really bad guardrails (it’s basically uncensored).

Also, Gemini needs to get more use - check out the cool lesson below. I think I need to create something that tells people when to use ChatGPT vs. Claude vs. Gemini vs. Grok.

Gemini doesn’t get enough credit. It’s ranked second right now in the AI arena, only behind the latest GPT-4o release (2024-08-08), but higher than TGPT-4o 2024-05-03.

I think where it does very well is in multimedia tasks, like analyzing a video. 

For example, you can ask it to provide a summary or create a LinkedIn post from a YouTube video.

How to do it:

1. Go to Google Gemini and log in

2. Ensure YouTube is turned on, by clicking the gear on the bottom left, then selecting Extensions, and then turning on YouTube

3. In the prompt, reference a YouTube video by typing in @. For example, try: @YouTube create a LinkedIn summarizing this video [youtube url]
