Stability AI released image to video with motion brush. Runway ML has something similar.

Why tell you this? Honestly, because it’s so much fun to take an image and convert it to video.

It’s like using ChatGPT for the first time, the magic is back!

Image to Video Magic with Motion Brush

Let’s get started.

1/ Create an account

Go to https://app.runwayml.com/video-tools and create a free account 

2/ Generate videos

Select Generate Videos from the left-hand menu, and then select Start with Image

3/ Upload an image

For Thanksgiving, I’m going to upload this Turkey that I created through Midjourney.

4/ Select Motion Brush

Select the Motion Brush option and fill in the parts of the image you want to be animated, and the direction. In my case, I filled in the turkey.

5/ Click Generate and watch the magic happen.
