Microsoft’s Copilot launches Notebook version

Microsoft Copilot launched a new notebook feature, which lets users refine and alter their prompts for the best output.

It lets users type prompt on the left side of the interface and see results on the right side.

What are the benefits?

• It allows up to 18,000 characters, vs. the traditional 4,000 character limit

• It is optimized for complex creation, rather than a Q&A back-and-forth

• More visual real-estate to see the reply

How to do it?

• Go to copilot.microsoft.com

• Select Notebook

• Start typing in a prompt

The idea here is you can keep typing and refining your prompt and it will remember the input / output history.

For example, my first prompt was “create a learning plan”, "then “Egyptian history”, then “add a marketing slogan to each topic”.
