• Google's Vids was first announced in April and is now accessible via Workspace Labs for testing.

• Unlike AI tools like OpenAI’s Sora, which creates lifelike footage from a prompt, Vids focuses on generating a presentation based on user descriptions.

• Users can start their presentation drafts using the available templates and enhance them with royalty-free stock content.

• The Gemini AI engine can automatically insert stock footage, generate a script, and provide an AI voiceover for presentations.
