Create AI apps with Claude Artifacts

Claude had a crazy release last week which we’ve covered before. However, a lot of you didn’t know how to get started.

What is Artifacts? Artifacts make it easy to work with significant pieces of content that you may want to modify, build upon, or reference later.

This can include documents, emails, and of course, code snippets.

I asked Claude to make an app that converts feet and inches to cm, and not only did it write the entire app, but it also hosted it too, so I can start using it immediately.

How to do it:

1. Go to Claude and create a free account

2. In the main page, turn on Artifacts (you must do this)

3. Type in the prompt of the form “Create an app that …“. Mine was “Create an app that converts feet/inches to cm“

4. The app should appear on the right-hand side
